The Fuzion X-3 and X-5 are two of the best selling scooters in the world, but before you make your decision it’s important to know the difference between the two. When it comes to the X-3 no other scooter on the market packs the same quality, handling and performance for the price. The X-5 offers the same benefits with a few extra upgrades that helps your child push themselves to the next level. Lets Compare the Decks:
Both the Fuzion X-3 & X-5 complete scooters come with incredibly well designed decks. We drew inspiration from our Z-Series pro level scooters when designing them so that new and beginner riders are learning the basics with everything they need to succeed. Both decks are made of the same 6061 aircraft grade aluminum that we use on our pro level products which guarantees that these decks are durable and lightweight. Both decks are also 4 inches wide by 19.5 inches long which from our research shows is the optimal size for beginner and smaller riders to use.
Although the decks are ALMOST identical we did include 1 major difference between them. The Fuzion X-5 has an upgraded neck and headtube design which helps with weight reduction and adds a ton of flare.

Although the Decks on the X-3 and X-5 are fairly similar the wheels are a completely different story. The X-3 complete comes standard with 100mm diameter hollowcore wheels that are made of a durable composite ABS material that make them light and strong.
The wheels on the X-5 are also the perfect 100mm size for beginner riders. The core of wheel is a 6061 Aluminum 5 spoke design that makes the wheel as strong as most pro level wheels. They are a bit heavier than the wheels on the X-3 but the benefits of the added strength vastly outweigh the weight difference (pun intended)!

Graphic Difference:
Both scooters look fantastic in their own right but as we mentioned earlier in the article there are quite a few differences in aesthetics with these scooters. The X-5 offers a graphic or design upgrade over the X-3 on every part of the scooter.

- Headtube & Neck have added curves and cutouts that give it a premium look.
- The grips have an incredible matching 2 color swirl on every colorway.

- The Bars on the X-5 have an added cross bar for strength but it also looks great.
Overall the X-5 is superior when it comes to how premium it looks on the surface. With that said, The X-3 is not lacking style or a premium look. We just took it to the next level for the X-5. Both the completes also offer 1 colorway each that have a graphic treatment that is guaranteed to blow you away.
